About Pneumonia
The disease Pneumonia is a type of lung infection that is caused by a virus or bacteria. The lungs are filled with thousands of little tubes called bronchi, which end in smaller sacks called alveoli. Each one ends in a soft, fine mesh of capillaries. This is where oxygen is added and carbon dioxide is removed. If a person has Pneumonia the alveoli in one or both lungs fills up with puss or fluids witch causes the disease.
